Who we are
Yucaipa Barrel Racers was established in 2024 and is a part of the California Gymkhana Association (CGA) District 7, We are an equestrian group based in Yucaipa, California. We focus on gymkhana events, which are equestrian competitions emphasizing speed and precision through various timed games on horseback, including barrel racing. These events are designed for riders of all ages and skill levels, promoting horsemanship and sportsmanship within the community.
We host all of our events at the Yucaipa Equestrian Center, a multipurpose equestrian facility located at 13273 California Street in Yucaipa. The center features a large covered main arena, a secondary arena suitable for warm-ups or cattle events, and various amenities to support equestrian activities.

Articles of Association of Yucaipa Barrel Racers
Article I: Name
The name of this organization shall be the Yucaipa Barrel Racers.
Article II: Purpose
The purpose of the Yucaipa Barrel Racers is to promote the sport of barrel racing and to foster camaraderie among participants in District 7. We aim to provide a supportive environment for members to develop their skills, compete, and enjoy the sport in association with the California Gymkhana Association (CGA).
Article III: Membership
Eligibility: Membership is open to all individuals interested in barrel racing, regardless of skill level.
Application: Prospective members must complete a membership application and pay the annual dues as determined by the Board of Directors.
Dues: Membership dues shall be established annually by the Board of Directors and are payable by [insert date].
Article IV: Governance
Board of Directors:
a. The club shall be governed by a Board of Directors consisting of a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and any additional positions deemed necessary.
b. Board members shall be elected by the membership at the annual meeting.Meetings:

Article VIII: Dissolution
In the event of dissolution, any remaining assets of the Yucaipa Barrel Racers shall be donated to a nonprofit organization that supports equestrian sports or youth programs, as determined by the Board of Directors.
Article IX: Adoption
